Are you passionate about big issues affecting our community and society? perhaps you’d like to contribute a couple of hour from time-to-time to help organize a community even or workshop? or maybe you’d like to take part in a group discussion once in a while?
If this sounds like you. PIA needs you!
PIA is a non-profit organization and benefits greatly from volunteer support. We welcome volunteers but we do not have volunteer positions that we seek to fill on a regular basis. Instead we assess volunteer applications on a case-by-case basis and see if we can offer volunteers meaningful opportunities that fit within our current needs.
We know that your time is precious so we will work with you to make sure you to get the most out of you experience with us.

Help guide the course of our association. PIA welcomes individuals, families and organizations to become members of our association. As a PIA member you will:
Be invited to attend our AGM (Annual General Meeting)
Receive a copy of our annual report
Be able to vote on issues that influence the course of PIA
Make contacts and network with individuals and organizations with similar interest
Make a meaningful contribution to the well-being of the Parkdale community
There is a small annual fee to obtain or renew a PIA membership:
Individual membership - $5.00/year
Family membership - $10.00/year
Organization/corporate membership - $25.00/year

No amount is too small. For larger contributions you can have your company or organization mentioned during the event and have promotional material displayed at the event. We are open to discussing other promotional activities as well.
